Vintage JOY Sign

I laid out by the pool today.  It is December 2nd, and I was able to work on my wedding tan... Wonderful, but weird.  This was my first weekend home in a long time, and I was strangely thankful to mop, do laundry and cook.  Guess I am working on my wifey skills {wedding countdown is 69 days!}.

I have this awkward skinny wall in my apartment that I have become obsessed with making vintage signs for.  This was one I made for Halloween:

Joy is one of my favorite words for the Christmas season.  Such a beautiful and difficult aspect to grasp God sending his son Jesus to earth.  I do not want to know the person I would be if this had not happened.  I am thankful.  Thankful is too long to put on a vintage sign, and a little more thanksgiving-ish.  haha :)

I already did a vintage sign tutorial and you can click {HERE} to find it.  To add the holly on the top and bottom, simply sketch with a pencil then used a paint pen to draw it in.  I hope you have a fabulous week! :)
