DIY Large Poster

Hello!  I have been looking forward to this day for a looong time...The Bachelor is back tonight!  Wooohooo!!  That makes going back to work more bearable...  Yes, I had two weeks off.  Yes, I want more.  :)  I shared our {office sneak peek} last week, and today I am going to talk about the big poster I DIYed.  I used {this} frame from Ikea.

DIY Poster

1.  Before you get started on adding your saying you will need remove the plexi glass and mat from the ikea frame.  Then you will paint the back "board" of the frame a color of your choice.  Print off what you want your sign to say {it's okay if it takes you a couple tries}, & arrange.

2.  Now chalk the back of the paper of your saying.

3.  Turn your paper back over and outline each letter using the end of pen.

4.  Check out your handy work and make sure all your letters are fully outlined.

5.  After all your letters are outlined fill them in using a paint pen {not pictured, whoops}.  I ended up using 2 paint pens.  Now using a damp cloth wipe off any remaining chalk.

I love this project because the options are endless.  I am already thinking about making another one for our basement.:)

You could say I am a little obsessed with these Ikea frames, here is another project I did with one.

I hope you have an AMAZING week!
