Chocolate Covered Strawberries {Football Edition}
I love chocolate covered strawberries. I know they are not the definition of healthy, but they can't be that bad. Right?! This dessert was pretty easy and prefect for a football watch party. As you can see they are not perfect...but I promise they will be a touchdown! Now run to the store to grab a few ingredients:
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients:
Strawberries
Chocolate Candy Dips
1/4 Cup White Chocolate Chips
Parchment paper, sandwich bag, and scissors.
Directions:
1. Melt the candy dips according to the package.
2. Place parchment paper on cookie sheet. Dip strawberries in the chocolate and place on cookie sheet.
3. Refrigerate strawberries for 30 minutes. Then melt white chocolate for 45 seconds and stir. If the chocolate is not pourable then continue heating in 15 second increments. Now spoon white chocolate into a baggie and cut a small hole in one corner.
4. Now draw the laces!
There you go! Are you ready for some fooooootballll strawberries!??
Have a great rest of your week ya'll!

Homecoming
Hello! I just had a FULL WEEK off of work! It was wonderful and busy. The first half of the week was spent working on the house, and the second half was spent hanging out in Texas & Oklahoma. First off, I loved seeing these babes!
I don't know how my cousin ever gets pictures of them that aren't blurry! I also got to meet the newest member of our family, Mason. Isn't he precious?!
Okay, one more!
Saturday was Oklahoma's homecoming game. It was awful. I am thankful for awesome family that helped me forget the one point loss. :)
After that game we celebrated my Pawpaw's 90th, yes 90th, birthday! If you would of asked me a year ago that he would be as healthy as he is today, I would of thought it wasn't possible. But I should of known... My Pawpaw is a fighter - WW2, Vietnam, and Korea Veteran. Our family had some scary moments in the last two years, but Pawpaw's back. And I could not be happier. :)
This was my families gift given to him. We wanted a gag gift and thought this was perfectly tacky.
A 90th birthday isn't complete without a champagne toast, laughter, and tears.
I had such a good time {minus the game}! I can't wait to go back :)
Keep watch, I am going to show you some house progress soon!

We have been BUSY!
We currently have half a million projects going on...
I keep wanting to share progress with y'all, but things still look like a hot mess. I just need to get over things lookinghalf quarter an eighth done, because my Mom wants more pictures :) {hi mom}! Our bedroom now has BLINDS, and a fan that isn't covered in flowers.
Did you notice our latest project? Keep your fingers crossed that our doors turn out beautifully! We really don't want to buy 10 new doors... Up next is our guestroom!
Isn't it beutiful?! haha We actually have friends coming to Denver in two weeks, which means we need to decide on a paint color...and move the furniture back in...and put up blinds! Now we are on to the office. Everything {not including trim or baseboards} is now painted! I guess that doesn't mean everything...
You might not think this looks like progress, but there are no boxes in floor which seems like a miracle. Everything still needs to be arranged/decorated, and the file cabinets need to get painted. Alright, who wants to see the front room???
How do you like the paint color? I LOVE it {not a joke}! I decided to add some Halloween decorations to make me happy. And yes, that is a microwave on suitcases. On to the kitchen:
Holy cow, it is unbelievable. One wall in our house actually looks "finished!" Who needs baseboards? This wall is across from our kitchen. Speaking of our kitchen...
Looking good right? ;) We have appliances, and holes in the ceiling! Up next is our sun room which where we do our hanging out.
Alright, thanks for stopping by! I am officially on fall break, and can't wait to be productive this week {and not watch Netflicks, ugggh yeah right}.
