DIY Fall Wreath

Happy Fall!!!  This is by far my favorite time of year.   I love football.  I love changing leaves.  And I really love weather in the 70s.  Our house is a complete disaster right now....both upstairs bathrooms are demoed, we have a bathtub in our front yard, a toilet in our backyard, the kitchen floor has been ripped up, and everything is covered dust!  Are you jealous?!  :)  I decided our front door needed a little sprucing up to hopefully distract our neighbors from a very blue bathtub

All the fall twigs are from JoAnn's and the wood block is from Hobby Lobby.  I used a wood burner to add the J and attached everything with a hot glue gun.  Batta bing, batta boom.  This was a fast and easy project!

Alright, here is where I need some help... Our door needs to be painted, right?  I think the color is pretty terrible.

Fake wood is never good look.  Here is what I am thinking...

We obviously need to update or remove the railing, update the light, and do something better with the numbers...

I would love to hear your ideas!!!

20 Weeks {HALF WAY}!

I cannot believe I am half way through this whole carrying a baby thing!

I had to include some pics of Tall Tan Man because he was making me laugh so hard.   He kept saying "stop pushing your belly out!"  I'm definitely not pushing out at all....

We got to see our lil man wiggling around on Monday at our 20 week ultra sound.  He was being so cute and measuring right where he was suppose to.  I was relieved.  I have been praying a lot about not being anxious throughout this process, but it has been a struggle.  I am very thankful for grace and hope during this special time.

How cute is he?  I might sound crazy, but I think he looks just like his Daddy in some of our pictures.  This post is making me weepy and hungry...Better go eat something!  See y'all soon. :)

Our Finished Buffet

Hello!  Oh my goodness y'all, I LOVE how our buffet table turned out!  Tall Tan Man built this for me for my birthday {may 31st}.  As you can see it took me 3 months to finish it.  My first trimester was no joke...I got absolutely nothing done this summer!

Tall Tan Man built this in complete secret.  I was shocked when we got home from church and this had just appeared from thin air!  I am one lucky girl.  When we got rid of the island and a wall of upper cabinets I was nervous about having enough storage.  Now with this buffet we have plenty storage space and an awesome piece of furniture to serve food on!

The top was stained with Minwax Dark Walnut and the base is the same color as our kitchen cabinets, BM Dove White.  Our {DIY Eat Sign} and {Book Pages Pumpkin} are some of my favorite DIYs.  Am I crazy for already putting some pumpkins out and it is 90 degrees today? Probably...  but I don't care!!

I hope y'all have a wonderful Sunday!  Oh and BOOMER SOONER!
