9 Month Old Levi

It's a good thing these basket pictures are almost done because Levi is now obsessed with ripping apart the basket!  It is challenging to get non blurry pictures of him while trying to stop him from eating pieces of the basket.  😂  Levi finally realized this month that he would like to move and was pretty ticked off that couldn't figure it out right away.  

    

Levi definitely got bigger this month.  I swear my kids sleep less and act crazy when they grow!  I don't feel like this is normal...  Levi's theme song this month was Aerosmith "Don't want to miss a thing"...

I think we have turned a corner so hopefully I'll get some more sleep for now.  Levi got two teeth this month which definitely contributed to the lack of sleeping.  I also figured out that he looooooves meat!  Chicken, pulled pork, fajitas, chick fil a... he loves it all!

I am hoping I actually do his 10 month post on time this month... I can't believe how close to ONE he is! 😢

8 Month Old Levi

How in the world is it already March?!  2019 seems to be blazing by and at the same time this winter seems never ending...  Every winter Sean thinks I've lost my mind because "I'm not acting like myself."  Well honey, this Texas girl thinks spring starts in February and for some reason that's not how Colorado works... 😭  Thankfully #fingerscrossed Levi has been healthy and happy!  We went to the doctor yesterday and he is 29.5 inches long and 18ish lbs.  He's pretty much Mack 2.0 when it comes to being long and lean.

8 months and 27 daysssssss

Levi has started eating more solids this month.  Praise the Lord, I can see the end of breastfeeding!  He loves peanut butter, graham crackers, and eating pouches by himself.  
I had to ask the doctor about him not really wanting to move STILL.  I feel like I have said this for 3 months but I am trying to not FREAK OUT about him not moving.  Maybe he is lazy?  Or content?  Content is a better word.  😂  I thought Mack was normal but I am beginning to think {thanks to Dr Google} he was advanced in the gross motor department.  It is just really hard because Levi is acting like Mack did at 6 months.  Like I can leave him on the bed and not worry about him crawling/rolling off... I told Sean if nothing has changed by 10.5 months I'll probably have him evaluated...  I'm just praying that he all of a sudden decides he wants to get moving.  
I'll probably regret that statement someday... 🙏

I've already started brainstorming Levi's 1st birthday and it will be his golden birthday {June 1st}!  Have you seen any cute gold boy birthday parties?  Glittler just seems to girly for me... Help!

7 Month Old Levi

Levi Paul, how on earth are you closer to your first birthday than your birth?!  Y'all, this little love bug is still the sweetest baby and he is starting to interact more each day.  I'm almost embarrassed to say this... but I didn't know if this whole "Mom thing" was my cup of tea until Mack was 8 MONTHS!  And guess what?  That's totally fine/normal if that's how you feel.  We don't have to love everything about the baby phases because some older woman says to cherish every moment.  That is how I feel about that...    
It is incredible to see how much Levi has grown.  I still remember the Starbuck's Barista asking me if he was a premie.  Which made me want to jump over the bar and deck her.  This was probably because of my hormones but irregardless I was so offended.  #andirrational 

Air guitar?  😂  Levi is still super content to not move...  Just in the last 2 weeks he really started rolling more but doesn't seem anywhere close to wanting to crawl.  I keep trying to remind myself that this is nice because when babies start moving it totally changes  everything.  Levi doesn't seem to love one food more than any other but reeeeeally wants to feed himself!

5 Month Old Levi

Levi turned 6 months {how is that even possible?!} on Saturday, so I decided I better get to sharing his 5 month pictures.  I am on top of taking the pictures on time, but getting them uploaded and writing a post is another story...

I am soooo behind! 😬  I was good about taking these pictures when Levi turned 4 months {Oct. 1st}, but life happened and I'm just getting around to posting them.  

He is growing like a weed!  I love having these pictures because I've already forgotten how tiny he was.  At Levi's 4 month doctor's visit he had gained about 9 lbs and grown 7 inches.  Maybe thats why he still gets up at night to nurse... 😢😴  Levi is still the happiest baby unless you are trying to give him a bottle.  Which he is still refusing!  He loves playing in his play yard and would rather lick the ground than raise his head during tummy time.
  

Levi took his 3rd trip on a plane to Oklahoma and slept through his first two tailgates.  The OU brainwashing has already begun!!!  #gotoOU #please 

Since his 4 month appointment he has been eating like a champ.  He has not refused any solids but still looks confused when he is eating.  Mack is definitely use to him being around now and is still so sweet to him.  He talks baby talk to him and loves to give him kisses.  Levi loves watching his brother but doesn't love it when he talks 2 inches from his face.  

I'll be back on Thursday for my week 4 update on the basement guest bedroom!  It is a little ridiculous how excited I am about the transformation!  💃
